EDAN (the Company) will respect and protect all Users who use the products and services provided by the Company. For the purpose of applicable data protection law, especially the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), the Company is the data controller. You will see the Company referred to as EDAN Instruments, Inc., Edan Diagnostics, Inc., Edan Medical (UK) Limited, and other group members on our official website.

We recognize that your privacy is important to you, please take moment to read the information below. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensure that any information you provide is collected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Your personal information may be shared within the EDAN Group Members, or with external partners and agencies involved in providing our services and products to you on our behalf (e.g. providers of services in respect of management, accounting, legal, logistics, auditing, compliance, IT systems and marketing).

We may also provide personal information to government authorities, law enforcement and regulatory authorities, but only where it is necessary, either to comply with the law or where permitted under the GDPR. For example where the disclosure is necessary for the purposes of the prevention and / or detection of crime or other purposes.

We reserve the right to transfer personal data about you in the event of any restructuring of the Company or sale of the Company's business. Should such a restructuring or sale occur, we will use reasonable efforts to direct the transferee to use data you have provided to us in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Notice.

We will not sell your personal information to any third party other than as part of any restructuring of the Company or Group or sale of a relevant Group business.

8.    WILL WE TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ABORD?

Your personal information may be transferred to the country outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”), Individuals should be aware that recipients of their personal information, within the Group or third parties, may not be located within the EEA but located in the countries which not have the same levels of data protection. - We use third-party analytics tools to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Service. These tools collect information sent by your device or our Service, including the web pages you visit, add-ons, and other information that assists us in improving the Service. - Metadata is usually technical data that is associated with User Content. For example, Metadata can describe how, when and by whom a piece of User Content was collected and how that content is formatted.

- Users can add or may have Metadata added to their User Content including a hashtag (e.g., to mark keywords when you post a photo), geotag (e.g., to mark your location to a photo), comments or other data. This makes your User Content more searchable by others and more interactive. If you geotag your photo or tag your photo using other's APIs then, your latitude and longitude will be stored with the photo and searchable (e.g., through a location or map feature) if your photo is made public by you in accordance with your privacy config.

·       Rights in relation to automated decision making including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR).
